I am Thamas from Budapest, Hungary. I have been nepal several times for trekking & Climbing. In 2005, I have did Excellent trip to Mera peak, then corssing Amphu labtsa pass and Climb Island peak. I have joined the Local sherpa company Named- Mountain sherpa Trekking & Expeditions. They are very professional specialized in Trekking & Climbing. They also run Fixed departure island and Mera peak as well as other trekking peaks in Nepal whole year round. The climbing guide and porters are all sherpas and they are really experienced and helpful team.
what I uderstood from your plan is you are looking for budget typed trip to island and mera peak. This local company is really helpful to design and give you the services what you need. you do not need to go though package. You could simply hire porters and climbing guide with them and they will arrange all your permits and necessary paper works.
