I have twice been trekking in Nepal, both times in march. Now Iīd like to came another "season". Thinking about autumn or april-may. Can anyone give me good advice??!! I donīt want it to be crowded and I like good weather and good views. Annapurna circuit ot EBC-Gokyo??

I agree with Rajendra, above. If you want to consider another season, April - beginning of May is very good.

Thank you for answering. So my choice is now late september or early december. Just two more questions, firstly about daylight, are the days very short in december??? And secondly, I suppose december can mean lots of snow??!!

Sorry, helena, I thought you were locked into the march-may thing...

December is an excellent time. Three of my four treks have been in lat december/early january. This is the "dry" (non monsoon) period of the year in Nepal, so precipitations are low. Despite the fact that people told me there are usually snow storms in late Dec, I have encountered only exceptional weather with great visibility. However it is very cold at altitude, especially evening, night and early morning above say 3500. At Gokyo or ABC it is bloody freezing appart from 10am to 2pm when it thaws a bit. But the views were worth it, as the air is dry and the visibility perfect.
