It is definitely very warm up to 2000-2400m altitude, but you can still get temperature in the single digits or even close to 0 degrees celsius at night and early morning abouve 3500m, and definitely at 4000, and above. I think you might get away "normal" sleeping bag (i.e. not and expensive downe one) will do. Plus you will have other "layering" available in your clothing bag. The run of the mill average sleeping bag can be made to feel warmer if you wear more clothes while you go to sleep.

I have a very similar question...

I am planning to come and do the Anapurna Circuit trail at the beginning of April. Aside from whether needing a sleeping bag or not, would you advise that I bring some heavy winter gear for the higher altitudes... stuff I would wear on a cold day skiing - eg: dawn/gortex jacket, ski pants, thick gloves, goggles, thermals, etc... or would fleece and more moderate equipment suffice?

Thanks,
-Alex
