Hello!
My wife and I are school teachers and are only available for travel in the summer. I have read about the rainy season and about leeches but want to know more. (I cannot afford to spend big bucks on permits and guided treks.)
Is it possible to do a teahouse trek in July?
Which one(s) would be best without a guide?
How bad is the rain/mud/leech problem?
Does it rain all day, or just for and hour or two?
How is the visibility when it is not raining?
How muddy do the trails get (does your foot sink in up to the ankle)?
Overall, will trekking in Nepal in July be a miserable experience, or a wonderful experience with a few hardships?
THANK YOU for any response or help!!!
