Can anyone recommend an honest transportation service for this? Taxis can often be dishonest, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a reputable business or driver? And would anyone like to share this ride? Last I read (http://www.trekinfo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10634&highlight=Besisahar+taxi) it would be about $80 US to Besisahar, although it's probably higher now. We (two) would like to get an early start, and a relatively comfortable, direct ride there. Air conditioning would be fantastic, or is that just wishful thinking?
I do know there are tourist buses to Pokhara that will let you off in Dumre, and direct public buses to Besisahar (continues to Bhulebhule?), but I think negotiating a good price in Dumre would be harder, and we do want an early start.
