Danger in Jiri and companion

Hi Andy,
I am also planning to do the EBC trek from jiri from mid feb. I posted a note further down the message board marked as Richard A. I hope to get to katmandu for around your dates ie travelling from bombay from the 6 th of feb and need to get back to southern india by april the 6th, so should leave enough time to do the EBC trek. Heres a little a bit about myself, i am a 21 year old Yorkshireman (part of the UK) who has just graduated and going on a, i know it sounds cheesey but i am going round the world, with the first stop india/nepal. i enjoy walking and the outdoors. hi andy,
i arrive in nepal on 30th jan for a 3 month period and plan to stay 3 or 4 days in ktm. i am pretty flexible with my further plans. thinking about to make at first a small trek (only 10-14 days) in the region of langtang or helambu to acclimate myself. so perhaps i could share your tour into the everest region afterwards.

btw i am an 28 years old german female, open minded and with a big big love to the mountains and outdoor life. :)
