1. Flights tofrom Lukla
You may have to wait one or two days if you wait till Kathmandu. It depends on bookings . The planes take 16-20. They usually have several flights a day if there is demand.
2. Guidesporters
They will come to you as you get out of the airport and into the main street. Take your time. Have lunch /tea. Talk to them. If they cant speak good English. Find another.Negotiate prices etc. A strtegy many use is to use one of the better lodges to help. You might even decide to go it alone. There will many who will be doing so. Once you get to Lukla you will realize it is not a wilderness walk but a pretty well defined trail. There are lodges etc all the way along for the next day or two until teh Sagarmatha Park entrance.
3. Teahouses
Only people who camp are the tour groups who bring everything . Everyone else uses lodges. They are not so many trekkers that it is noisy etc. If so find a quieter one . There will lots of choices until you get to Lobuche, that is most of the way. I am talking dozens of choices i the bigger stopping points.
