I would like to give my best recommendation to our trekking guide Dil Gurung, and our great Sherpa porters Chhiring and Nima. After spending 3 weeks trekking together, I consider them as my good friends.

We went on a family trek together, from Jiri to Everest Base Camp. We is my mom, my brother, and my two children aged 9 and 12.
After the first 2 days of walking, we realized that the plan that the trekking agency has made was absolutely unrealistic for kids and my mom. Dil was able to save the situation by suggesting an alternative, he changed the destination to Gokyo Ri and added extra nights along the way. Gokoy Ri is a peak of 5360 m, with truly wonderfull wievs of the Himalaya Range - which fullfilled my dream of seeing Mt. Everest up close.

Dil is a goverment licensed guide, is a very caring and responsible person, who has an assertive approach to solving problems, that might arise on the way. His great knowledge of the mountains, the area, the customs made his company absolutely enjoyable. With a guide that was being so great at encouraging the group, we had a wonderfull trek, with lots and lots of fun.

Chirring and Nima were our two sherpas, strong, confident, trusthworthy. They have many years of experience, an easy smile. They took good care of my son, that often wanted to walk together with them ahead of the rest of us. And in some of the smaller lodges, they went into the kitchen, and cooked us high class gourmet food.
