Hi,
As this trek requires a lot of organising, especially for 6 people, I would recommend you do this trip with a registered trekking company. Unlike the Everest, Annapurna and Langtang regions, the Manaslu region does not have much tea houses and the law requires that all treks in this region be done through a registered trekking company. There is a restricted area fee of USD 90 per person per week for the Fall season and USD 75 per person per week for the Spring season. Earlier, the law required accompaniment by a Nepali Liaison officer, but now that law has been scrapped.
A "fully organised" camping trek in this region for 6 people employs about 15 Nepalese staff. And it is very important that you keep in mind the "well being" of the people you employ. After all the Nepalese staff are as vulnerable to the dangers of cold and High altitude sickness as any westerner. If you do the trek with a reputable trekking company, the "well being" of the staff and organising are included in the package.

Mr Gurung is very right, you have to do this trek thru an agency in Kathmandu/Pokhara and mind you it is expensive around 1500USD per person.Intrested I can email you with exact itenerary and cost.

Hi, I did the Manaslu trek some years ago see www.dungevalley.f9.co.uk lots of pictures etc. This of all the treks I have done was the least memorable so if it is your first trek try one of the others.
