Hello Julia
I'll probably be in KTM the 7th. I have to buy some stuff for the trekking. My idea is do the Annapurna, and then I don't know. my only limitation is take a flight to Bangkok from Delhi the 16th of June. I was an student until last week :- D

sorry that was such a short msg before. have you been to nepal yet? the computers can be vaaary slow. yes i was a student until last june, then now i am not a student, and soon i will return to studenthood again. it would be great to meet up, i am going to pokhara probs on 8th may with some friends. it is slightly up in the air but how does that sound? we would not have to trek together if you found other friends/thought i would be a million times slower than you but would be good to meet up anyway, what do you reckon? in pokhara if not ktm. i am thinking of gonig for a huge steak, where is that famous cafe, ktm or pokhara? anyway msg sooner the time, J

It could be good just to meet up and then we'll see, if we have the chance.
It's going to be my first time in Nepal.. The thing is I'll be early 4th in Delhi, I'm not able to buy a flights from here I have to buy it there. If there aren't too expensive I can go directly to Kathmandu, if not I'll go via Sunauli and thats nearer to Pokhara. The things I have to buy I can take them in both cities.

Six months ago I paid 6800 Indian Rupees for a one way Delhi - Kathmandu.
IIRC it was about $160 US at the time.
I ordered it from home through Trips Out Travels in Delhi. I know these guys
since a long time, and it is I who have hung out this web page for them. You
had better order a ticket as early as you can.

Hey, Im so sorry to be a total asswipe but some people I know have decided to go on the Annap circuit instead of a shorter one they were planning, so Im going with them instead. Im really sorry to bail but there are SO many people going Im sure you will find people. there are apparently loads of signs up if you go round the guesthouses in pokhara. also after the trek i will def be in pokhara, maybe we could meet up then? i want to do more than one trek, also really want to trek in pakistan too but dont know if thats the king of all ideas. sorry again, would be good to meet up sometime tho, will check back here. good luck! x

Don't worry Julia and enjoy your trek, I'm sure I'll not have special problems. I'll check this thread too, we might meet in pokhara though. Good Luck!

Hello,
I am an 23 year old American who is looking to do the Annapurna circuit in the next few days, although I have no particular time limit in Nepal, other than my visa expiring in 60 days time. I arrived in Kathmandu yesterday. Contact me at onething1985@gmail.com if interested.
Cheers.

Hey guys, i'll reply to you both individually in case you don't read this for a while.
I am in Kathmandu now, just got my ACAP and TIMS for the Annapurna Circuit, and will get on a bus to Pokhara hopefully tomorrow morning [if not the day after]. So will be up for heading off a couple of days after that, if it sounds good to you?
British, male, and a student, by the way!
