I am in sydney and whilst not able to assist your issue would like to touch base after you return for some sincere feedback as I am doing EBC from Jiri (and fly out of Lukla) )ct 2003.

Is this OK??

I am currently in KTM and looking for someone to walk from Jiri to Kala Pattar/EBC and Gokyo.

I would like to start before the 11th Nov - ie the 10th would be ideal. I expect to take about a month. I do not plan to fly at any time. I need to be back in KTM on/around the 12th - 13th at latest, but otherwise am happy to amble along slowly.

I would consider a shared taxi to Jiri rather than the bus. In any case I plan to take motion sickness pills!

I am an Anglo-Australian, 47, and have done this before (solo) in 1980 when the bus only went as far as Lamosangu and there were few people on the trail even in Rhodo season. I look forward to seeing what has changed and what has remained the same...
