AAnnapurna Trekking in spring 2008 and after (http://www.trektournepal.com)
Annapurna trekking is one of the best trekking in the world. It offers many different itineraries including Circuit. It offers different shape of the mountain at a same trekking with different culture, tradition, people and plants, vegetation form the tropical land to alpine zone (the pass 5416m). The beginning of the treks starts anti clockwise with the Marshyangdi valley and end with the Kali Gandaki valley. On the way trekkers will have encounter with the Gurung, Magar, Bhotias (Tibetan) Thakali and other mixed ethnic group. Especially you will a view with Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Hilmalchuli, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Machhepuchare, Annapurna South and many more. Three of them are above 8000m. The trekking divides in two parts before the pass and after the pass. The first part is remaining as usual but the beginning of the second part has a road from recently. It will simply disturb if you want to continue the trekking to Nayapul. The regions you could continue the trek is you have a natural hot spring in Tatopani and Ghorepani offers a wonderful sunrise form the Himalayas. The trek form Tatopani to Nayapul is still enjoyable. If you are running out of time now you can do a Annapurna circuit in about 12 days and ride a Jeep or Motorcycle to Beni and drive to Pokhara.
