Heading to Nepal later this week.
We have a tight schedule and are a little bit limited by the fact that the permit office for ACAP is closed on Saturday. (True?)
I have read that a permit can be bought at ACAP posts once you have started trekking. Is there any reason not to do this other than the difference in cost (I hear Rs 4000 vs 2000)?
Does anyone know the actual hours of the offices in Kathmandu and Pokhara?
Any other ways around this?
Thanks.
