i'm very new to this so pls excuse any retardedness :).

***which trek is more suitable for the time im going?

***in terms of scenery, which is best in mid-april (are there any crazy blossoms goin on in either or both treks?)

*generally is annapurna known as more beautiful of a trek than around everest?

*roughly, how cold does it get around 4-5000 meters high in mid-april?

Yes, the blossom is out in the Annapurna area in April. You spend more days at lower altitude than in the Everest region but as you trek higher the temperature drops considerably and will probably be below freezing at night once you get above Manang, anything down to -10 degrees at Thorung-la. At that time of year there is a fair chance of snow - the photo of Thurung-la on this page was taken on April 10th for example:

In both regions there will be a good chance of cloud obscuring mountain views. We found that days would start fine and then cloud would roll in fairly quickly, meaning landscape photography is best done early!
Annapurna is more interesting culturally than the Everest region and for that reason I would choose to go there in April, as poor views would not spoil the experience.
Whichever you decide, you will love it and end up wanting to return to Nepal!
