Trek from Phaplu?

Hello,
Has anyone done the trek this way? Fly to Phaplu and continue onto Namche, thus skipping a day on the bus, I am trying to save few days yet would like to trek the portion of Jiri-Namche for the acclimatization purposes. thank you

Well I have not. But I have trekked past Phaplu five times, and I have never
seen any aircraft in the neighborhood. I don't think there are very frequent
flights to Phaplu.

It is a good idea though.
