Since we have plenty of time (30-40 days trekking) we want to do a trek which is not a standard touristic route (EBC, Anapurna C., etc.) . does any of you independent travellers know of a route which is special, and worth doing. I would like to see ample visited sites: e.g special passes/summits, monastaries, valleys, tibetan unspoiled villages and the like.
