I am hoping to trek the Kangchenjunga in October/November and was wondering if anyone had any information on safety in Taplejung area with the Maoists.

Dear cristina,

Nice to hear you are planing to go to kanchanjungga trek. if you will direct flight to Taplejung is it ok but I am not sure for the mao. now a days there is ok.i have been there sevarel time for the trek but never got the problems. maight be i would go there during this year.
