You need the National park permit Nrs1000.No other thing are compulssion.Accept this you want to hire a guide it would be geat.Gov.lincence holder guide would prefer.

Jeff,
When are you going to Kala Pattar? I am leaving KTM 1 October for Kala Patar, Gokyo Ri and other excursions in the Sagarmatha National Park for 4 weeks. There are three in our group, and we would be interested in adding people. We are using a guide from KTM that we have worked with on prior treks. Please let me know if you would like our itinerary.
