Mera or Island Peak in Sept

A companion and I intend trekking to EBC and via Cho La to Gokya starting 17 October. Looking to climb Island or Mera Peak thereafter, or possibly en route if feasible - would welcome advice on costs involved and time required from Lukla or Namche?

Furthermore, wishing to store equipment in Namche for 3 weeks - any recommendations appreciated.
